Nile Deputy Governor and Minister of Culture, Information and Communications Mustafa Mohamed Othman Al-Sharif stressed the importance of strengthening the spirit of national belonging, working towards the next stage of the life of the country and to support the armed forces to overcome the present with the determination of men and the firmness of heroes.

Nile Deputy Governor and Minister of Culture, Information and Communications Mustafa Mohamed Othman Al-Sharif said that the arts have a major role in the battle for dignity with what they presented, and that the letter, the word and the melody is a defensive weapon and among the most powerful with a direct impact.

Nile Deputy Governor, Minister of Culture, Information and Communications, Mustafa Muhammad Othman Al-Sharif, during his speech at the celebration of the 69th anniversary of Sudan's independence, organized by the Union of writers and artists of Atbara, Al-Sharif called for strengthening national meanings among children, generations and youth, and using literary and cultural capabilities to support the principles of unity, stability and preservation of national sovereignty.

Al-Sharif praised all innovators across the country who participated in the battle for independence and who today are part of the battle for dignity that the armed forces are waging on all fronts of the struggle to clean up the land of the filth of rebellion.

The vice governor pointed out that the Atbara Writers and Artists Union was over seventy years old, that is, before the declaration of independence, which confirms that it is anti-colonial and pro-colonial. independence since its creation until today.
