Destruction of expired food in the Wadi Halfa area
The Sudanese Authority for Standardization and Metrology in Wadi Halfa sector exterminated 10 tons of spoiled and expired foodstuffs. Engineer Al-Walid Muhammad Othman, director of the sector, revealed that the extermination included quantities seized during previous periodic campaigns organized by the sector. with the participation of the relevant authorities, the Attorney General and the director of the economic security unit in the sector, as well as the administrative head of environmental health and the investigation of supply and consumer protection, all of whom praised the efforts of the Authority and cooperation with the parties concerned. in protecting consumers.
The sector director confirmed the continuation of intensive efforts to implement specifications and standards and modernize the national economy.
