Direct Aid and Sight International Society: They are implementing a free camp in cooperation with Shendi University for local residents

The Direct Aid Society, in cooperation with Shendi University, established a treatment camp in Shendi Town. The camp targeted local residents and a group of displaced people fleeing the war.
Al-Aas Ahmed Kamel, regional director of the International Sight Foundation, said in press releases that the foundation implemented the camp in cooperation with Shendi University and with the support of the Direct Aid Society, noting that the camp had performed four hundred cataracts and (Sight restoration operations) and examinations were also carried out free of charge. Four thousand patients, men and women, received free medicines, treatments and glasses, he said, adding that the team implementing this camp was able to carry out its mission.
