Director General, Ministry of Youth and Sports, River Nile Attends Conclusion of Summer Camp, Lauds Youth and Sports Movement and Partnerships in the State

The Acting Director General of the Ministry of Youth and Sports in River Nile State, Professor Hawa Mohamed Idris, attended the closing ceremony of the twelfth summer camp, which was held yesterday afternoon at the Atbara Family Park, organized by the Atbara Youth Center within the General Youth Administration of the ministry in partnership with the Sudanese Authority for Standards and Metrology and the Child Protection Council, under the slogan (We are all behind the armed forces)

For her part, the Director General of the Ministry, Mrs. Hawaa, praised the youth and sports movement in the state and appreciated the great efforts made by the General Administration of Youth of the Ministry. She expressed her satisfaction with the smart partnerships with Standards and Metrology. She explained that the camp was held at the Atbara Youth Training Center and lasted for two months, and its main objective was to uplift the youth and instill the patriotic spirit in their souls, and the State Children's Council. The camp contained a number of different programs. She thanked all the coaches and supervisors in the cultural and sports aspects. She announced that a number of camps were being organized in the state and she hoped to find sponsorship from the state government. In her speech, she affirmed that the youth and athletes stand with the armed forces.

While the representative of the Director General of Standards and Metrology confirmed his support and sponsorship of the state youth camps, promising that he would convey the news of the carnival to the Director General, the Director of Standards also spoke about the importance of this camp and said that the state Ministry of Youth and Sports had tangible activity, promising to continue cooperation with the ministry in all other activities and programs.

The program included sports, cultural and creative performances that inspired the talents of young people and youth, and food was distributed to orphaned children of expatriates as provided for by specifications and standards, as well as an exhibition of art and creative drawings.

At the end of the program, certificates were distributed to the students and awards were presented to the Minister of Youth and Sports, the Standards and Metrology Authority and other dignitaries.
