Director of Shendi University: Nile Governor's support for general and higher education has exceeded the limits of his mandate across Sudan

Director of Shendi University, Dr. Hassan Awad Al-Karim Ali, said Nile Governor Muhammad Abd al-Badawi Abd al-Majid made the most difficult decisions during wartime in order to normalize life, based on its decision to resume the school year at all levels of public education, its acceptance of thousands of students from war-affected states and the state's reception of dozens of public and private universities to complete the semesters and exams of its students.
River State hosted the Sudanese Certificate examinations for the year 2023, which were postponed and concluded peacefully last week.
The director of Shendi University said in his speech at the university's retirement celebration that the governor of Nahr has provided great support to Shendi University, which has had an impact on the progress of the university in light of the circumstances that the country experienced due to the war.
Director of Shendi University, Dr. Hassan Awad Al-Karim, revealed that the university was able, under the difficult circumstances of the country's history and university life, to organize examinations for more of (1,400) students, men and women. woman, and to welcome more than twenty public and private universities to complete semesters and hold exams for its students, including final exams, Shendi has held five exams for the Medical Specialties Board.
He said the secret of Shendi University's success lies in its cohesion and preserving social cohesion and this honor is part of this action.
He pointed out that Shendi University honored, during this celebration, the Nile Governor for his continued support to the university, the Shendi Sons Initiative for its great role in welcoming the war-affected arrivals in from the States of Sudan, popular resistance for its contribution to the war effort and support of the armed forces, and the Shendi Local Planning Committee, which preserved the university's lands and honored the university, Muhammad Othman Muhammad al-Bashir, is the source of culture and history and the first reference for information about Shendi and the entrepreneur Muhammad al-Hassan al-Tahir, the entrepreneur of the Faculty of Law, Professor Abdul Rahman Abdullah awarded a free scholarship to any student he chose at the College of Education for a role in the educational process.
