Draw dominates Premier League opener between Al-Amal Atbara and Al-Ahly Madani in Berber group
The first Premier League match of the new season in the Berber group ended in a draw between Al-Amal Atbara and Al-Ahly Madani, with two goals for each team. Al-Ahly advanced twice and Al-Amal drew.
During both halves, the match maintained an above average performance with some technical tricks and individual technical skills.
In his statements between halftime, the Nile Governor highlighted the importance of practicing sports activity, especially football, and said his state pays increased attention to all types of sports, considering that sports is one of the means of social cohesion and a sign of national unity.
The Governor of the Nile, Mohamed El-Badawi Abdel-Majed, the Federal Minister of Youth and Sports, Hazar Abdel-Rasoul, as well as some sports personalities, were honored. The Premier League was suspended due to the war which broke out in Khartoum in April last year and spread to some states.
