Air France said the route of some of its flights had changed and that some planes had returned to the airports from which they took off.
It stressed that the safety of its customers and its crews “is an absolute necessity”, specifying that it constantly monitors the evolution of the geopolitical situation in the areas that its planes serve and fly over “in order to ensure the most high level of safety and security”. flight safety.
An airline source told AFP that Air France was the only airline to take this precautionary measure, specifying that the airspace above the area was not closed.
