Education: the law violated in time of wars and conflicts – something for the fatherland – ✍️ Mr. Salah is strange

Education is an essential human right, because it is not only a means of acquiring knowledge, but rather the basis of the construction of societies, the development of individuals and the opening of future horizons. However, each year, and with the arrival of September 9, which coincides with the International Day for the Protection of Education against Attacks, we remember the way in which this right violated wars and conflicts. In the light of armed conflicts, schools turn tags for science into attack targets, and millions of children are deprived of their learning opportunity, leaving a generation at risk of loss and marginalization.

At the heart of this tragedy, the painful situation in Sudan is lying. With the outbreak of the current war, schools and educational establishments have become a direct victim of attacks, and the study rooms have turned into military barracks or were completely destroyed. The impact of these attacks is not limited to the destruction of buildings, but also extends to the complete disruption of the educational process, which deprives a whole generation of students from their right to education and threatens the future of the whole country. This situation clearly indicates that the protection of education is not only a moral responsibility, but rather a vital necessity to ensure the stability of any society after the end of the conflict.

The return of the education system to Sudan to its first biography after the end of the war requires a collective effort and a complete strategy. This cannot be done simply in reopening schools, but should rather be based on several basic axes. First, there should be a psychological rehabilitation and social support for students and teachers who lived in war atrocities, to help them overcome the shock and return to a sure educational environment. Second, the infrastructure of affected schools must be rebuilt and the educational material necessary to ensure the resumption of the study. Third, educational programs must be developed proportional to the new reality and work to improve the values of peace, tolerance and peaceful coexistence. These steps will not only make education, but will help rebuild the social fabric of Sudanese society.

In the midst of these difficult situations, inspiring experiences show that hope is still standing. Among these experiences, the Sudanese School of Friendship in Cairo is a model in the adoption of useful policies to regulate Sudanese education for students who are refugees in Egypt. The great efforts made by this institution, in cooperation with the Supreme Council of the Sudanese community in Egypt, shows how cooperation and coordination can make a real difference.

The last meeting between the school administration and the representatives of the community dealt with the current conditions of Sudanese schools and education in Egypt, and listened to the concerns and challenges of the community in the field of education. This open and transparent dialogue, which focuses on the importance of coordination and consultation, stable guarantees the progress of the educational process with the approach of the new academic year.

Under the supervision of the cultural advisor, the Al -Siddiqa school endeavors to make a qualitative change in the management of the educational file via the unified school administration system and to provide educational renewals to support the interest of students. The Sudanese community evaluating these great efforts testifies to the importance of this work to provide a valid educational environment and ensure insurance for parents. This cooperation model establishes the idea that the Sudanese community is not only a recipient of the service, but rather an active partner in the construction of the future of its children.

In conclusion, the protection of education against attacks remains a shared responsibility. The international day of protection of education against attacks, we must remember that education is not only a right, but rather an investment in the future. What is happening in Sudan and elsewhere in the world requires us the need to work hard to rebuild what wars destroy and to ensure that schools remain tags for science and security, not the objectives to be destroyed.
