Educational media: an urgent necessity in Sudan of post -war and current circumstances – something for the fatherland – ✍️ Mr. Salah is strange
It has become clear that the specialized educational media, in particular in the light of the current circumstances that Sudan crosses, represents an urgent and urgent need. After having the opportunity to attend a workshop on educational media and its role in the fight against the current situation and current events, I carried out the depth of the big gap from which our Sudanese media suffer in this vital aspect.
The war that ravaged the country and the repercussions it left at all levels was no exception to the education sector. With the continuation of Sudanese certificate exams and the efforts made to intensify the teaching of the Sudanese study program in Egypt to welcome affected students, the pivotal role of educational media is highlighted as a basic lever to support the educational process and reduce the effects of the crisis.
Sudanese students, inside Sudan or in the diaspora countries as an egypt, experience a state of fog and dispersion. Between the interruption of studies, the lack of educational resources and the psychological pressure caused by displacement and conflicts, the specialized educational media become an essential tool to provide the necessary support and information.
Imagine how educational media can play an effective role in providing precise and reliable information on examination schedules, study programs and how to access educational material, in particular students present in areas of conflict or that have been moved, to encourage awareness programs that provide advice to students and parents to process psychological pressure, and encourage perseverance and achievements scientists, challenges, and the promotion of alternative education. The intensification centers of education in Egypt, to ensure the continuity of the educational process, strengthen awareness of society, seek the community to support education and the creation of the appropriate environment for students, and highlight the importance of investing in human capital even in the most difficult circumstances, to document successful experiences while presenting stories of success for students who have managed to overcome the difficulties and Expand hope and establish stories for students who have succeeded in overcoming difficulties and achieving excellence, widening hope and determining the students.
It is not enough to have media, but we need a specialized educational media. This means that we have qualified journalists not only on the media, but they have an in -depth understanding of the educational, psychological and social affairs of students. They should be able to simplify information, adapt messages according to different age groups and provide content in an innovative and attractive way. The absence of this specialization leaves a big void and makes the educational messages lost or ineffective. In light of the current situation, where students are faced with unique challenges, we cannot count on public or unused messages.
To overcome this deficiency for a better future, I suggest recommendations, in particular the training of media executives by developing specialized training programs for Sudanese media professionals in the field of educational media, emphasizing communication skills in crises and psychological support, and the creation of specialized educational media platforms, whether televised, radio or digital platforms, specialized educational for students, parents and teachers. And cooperation with educational establishments by establishing solid partnerships between the media and educational establishments and the Sudanese Ministry of Education, in order to ensure the accuracy of information and meet real needs.
Including educational media in national plans, educational media must be an integral part of the national plans for the reconstruction of education in Sudan after the end of the war. And benefit from international experiences by studying the successful experiences of other countries that have gone through similar circumstances and how educational media used to mitigate the severity of educational crises.
Investing in educational media is an investment in the future of Sudan. Building educated and conscious generations is the only means of rebirth in the country. We must realize that educational media is not a luxury, but rather an ultimate necessity which must be received and supported, in particular in these critical circumstances that our country crosses.
