Egypt firmly condemns the targeting of infrastructure at the Sudan port and calls for climbing to stop climbing

The Arab Republic of Egypt condemned, thanks to an urgent statement published by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the intense targeting which affected civil facilities and infrastructure at Port Sudan at dawn today, Monday, May 6.
The declaration stressed that Egypt denounces in the strongest terms of this dangerous climbing, warning its negative repercussions of ceasefire efforts, protecting civilians and ensuring that humanitarian aid has reached its beneficiaries in fraternal Sudan.
Cairo has renewed its complete rejection of all targeting of civil facilities, as an explicit violation of international humanitarian law, stressing that such actions represent a direct threat to the capacities of the Sudanese State and the disruption of the daily life of citizens.
