Electronic Press Association intervenes to evacuate a number of journalists from war zones

The regular meeting of the Electronic Press Association approved the previous activities and obtained the measure of evacuation of a number of journalists who work and work on websites to safe areas in coordination with the Social Secretariat, according to the number of cases in which interventions were carried out. reached about 12 cases, in addition to the meeting approving the plan of training and rehabilitation projects according to the approved map.

The meeting, which was chaired by the Association's President, Al-Sir Al-Qassas, in the presence of a number of members of the executive board today in Port Sudan, called for the continuation of the inventory and monitoring of past costs. It also reviewed the financial and administrative mapping and recommended the establishment of controls for the listed activities.

The meeting was also informed of the external contributions of the members of the Executive Board and requested contacts with counterpart entities and the processing of related files.

The meeting ensured urgent interventions for journalists affected by the events in Sinja and Dinder, and welcomed the interventions carried out in terms of evacuation and care.

The meeting called for communication with the Red Cross to discuss exploiting its evacuation and family reunification capabilities.

The meeting expressed regret to the families of the defenseless victims for the violations they suffered at the hands of the barbaric militias that displaced and displaced the citizens, as information is still lacking from some journalists, media professionals and website workers.
