Evaluate and match exported goods to the specification table

The Sudanese Authority for Standardization and Metrology, Gedaref State Sector, organized a training course for a number of people targeted at the assessment and conformity of exported goods. The course aimed at the need to train staff to increase the efficiency of performance and compliance with standards. quality standards, and to introduce the laws and inspection of containers and export operations and other security aspects and link them to the activities of the Authority.

The course was honored by the Governor of Gedaref, Major General Maash Mohamed Ahmed Hassan, under the patronage of the Director General of the Sudanese Organization for Standardization and Metrology, Ms. Rahba Saeed, and under the supervision of Dr. Khalil Idris, Director of Gedaref Branch, who stressed the importance of training the Authority's employees inside and outside the country to develop and improve performance levels.

Director of the Control and Inspection Sector in Gedaref Sector Abdel-Hay Ahmed Idris reviewed the report. The Authority plans to evaluate export goods and explain the regulations and laws to evaluate export and import goods and work on qualifying executives. He said that export is one of the pillars of the state with the support of the public treasury.

Highlighting the roles that the Authority is looking forward to in introducing laws, inspecting export containers, shedding light on regulations related to export operations and other security aspects and linking them to the activities of the Authority, as well as paying attention to storage and marketing and supporting and developing the agricultural markets exchange in Gedaref State.
