Executive Halfa receives the Secretary General of State Strategic Planning and discusses the locality's strategic plan
The Executive Director of Halfa Locality, Mr. Abu Ubaida Mirghani Burhan, received the Secretary General of the National Strategic Planning Council, Mr. Amin Dahab Fadl, and the accompanying delegation in his office headed by the locality.
This took place as part of a tour of the localities to discuss the plan, report and performance of the localities for the second quarter of the year 2024 AD.
The Executive Director of Halfa locality, Mr. Abu Ubaida Mirghani Burhan, said that the meeting discussed the problems and obstacles facing it, the performance progress and the first quarter report of the locality for the year 2024 AD, in full presence of the local public. administrations.
Burhan went on to say that the outcome of the meeting was the formation of a strategic planning department for the locality to develop a plan for the period of 2024 to 2030 AD.
Appreciating the role of administration in planning profitable development projects by leveraging local benefits in agriculture, fisheries and tourism sectors through proper planning.
For his part, the Secretary General of the Strategic Planning Council, Mr. Amin Dahab Fadl, said that the tour started in the locality of Halfa and that during the meeting we discussed the strategic plan of the locality for the year 2024 AD.
Confirming its tendency to include local plans in the general plan of the Northern State to achieve a strategic plan extending from 2002 AD to 2030 AD, according to the directives and decrees of the Governor of the Northern State.
He added that the tour will include the localities of Halfa, Dalqo and Al-Barqiq in the first stage, then the rest of the seven localities in the second stage.
Dahab stressed the need to support the strategic planning office in the localities so that it can carry out its mission to achieve a secure and stable state with stable resources that will serve its growth and development objectives, as it said it.
In the same vein, the director of the General Department of Planning, Research and Statistics of the Supreme Council for Strategic Planning, Banna Abdullah Hassan, indicated the development of analytical reports on the local performance of a a number of departments to identify and discuss the activities of the different services, which issued a number of recommendations in the area of the plan.
She added that the meeting explained the general indicators of the strategy and the activities implemented with the formation of the technical committee, its skills, the role of localities and the equipment they have to develop their own strategy and form teams of work. , after having trained and qualified the executives to prepare a strategy for the locality.
