Executive Shendi: The launch of the Sudanese certificate examinations represents the strength of will of the sovereign, executive and educational authority.
The Sudanese Grade 23 certificate exams began on Saturday after a two-year hiatus due to the war that broke out in Sudan last April.
In Shendi, the security committee inspected a number of examination centers and reassured the committee of the arrangements made before the bell rang.
The executive director of Shindi locality, Khaled Abdel Ghaffar Al-Sheikh, who rang the departure bell, said that the start of the exams at the appointed time represents the strength of will and determination of the sovereign authority, executive and educational. added that the psychological preparation of students is a positive sign to achieve a good result.
He said Shendi locality, in cooperation with police and security, had provided buses to transport students to and from accommodation sites and examination centers.
The Second Commander of the Third Infantry Division, Major General Omar Al-Sir, said that passing the Sudanese certificate exams is part of the battle for dignity that the people and the armed forces are waging against the aggression against the country.
Shendi Police Director Brigadier General Ezzedine Mohamed Idris called on students and citizens not to pay attention to rumors and continue their studies.
