For his part, specialist expert Al-Fatih Al-Senussi from the Sudanese Landmine Control Organization (Jasmar) warned of the consequences of directly cleaning houses and streets when returning home after the end of the war, without paying attention to the remains of the war. , including weapons, ammunition, mines and non-explosive objects.
Al-Fateh Al-Senussi warned of the need for adults to come forward when families decide to return to learn about conditions in areas where the war took place and to expel children until that the definitive return to their homes is made, indicating the need to be careful in the choice of routes and in the study of information concerning them, noting that the remnants of the war are considered the enemy in The journey of the return, just like the attacks of the rebellion with its weapons were the enemy in the citizens' exit journey.
Al-Senussi highlighted the injuries that could occur due to explosions of objects during cleaning operations and burning grass, earth, etc. He also warned against the bad activities of some people, such as collecting and dismantling iron, copper and other waste. with the aim of trading it.
Al-Senussi delivered a series of messages and advice on how to deal with explosive objects, especially mines, and to be careful not to touch or handle these objects before reporting them to the competent authorities through the special number 60666 , highlighting the efforts made and the training provided by the Jasmar organization to communities, especially displaced people, on how to deal with them. With the remnants of war, in coordination with the National Mine Action Center, these efforts actually began to target the youth of Shendi and Al-Damer. localities.
Al-Senussi expressed the organization's aspiration to work in partnership with various media outlets to convey the message, which he described as sensitive and intolerant of amputation or confusion.
