Expo Osaka reveals the mineral treasures of Sudan in the world

The General Authority for Geological Research, affiliated to the Sudanese Ministry of Minerals, presented an extended interactive presentation during its participation in the exhibition “Expo 2025” in the Japanese city of Osaka, highlighting investment opportunities in the mining sector, in a movement aimed at developing the basis of foreign investors and improving the presence of Sudan in the Asian markets.
The Sudanese pavilion, which drew the attention of visitors with its interactive style and various content, has aroused the attention of a certain number of Japanese companies, which has encouraged many of them to offer initial demands on opportunities to enter the Sudanese market. This participation – according to observers – is part of a broader strategy for the Ministry of Minerals connecting the resources of the country rich in global financing and technology networks.
At the end of a specialized workshop, the exhibition followed, the participants recommended the start of the Sudanese embassy in the direct tokyo dialogues with interested companies, organizing closed meetings with targeted investors, as well as the development of promotional material in several languages, creating a database to communicate with the relevant authorities and improve the government coordinate to ensure the provision of the next international articles.
The authority confirmed that the “Expo 2025” experience will be adopted as a model for the management of international events, stressing its commitment to continue working in the minds of the team to maximize yields in the mining sector and support sustainable development plans in Sudan.
