Federal Minister of Culture and Information condemns militias' obstruction of humanitarian aid during visit to the north

The Federal Minister of Culture and Information paid a two-day visit to the Northern State and was received by the Governor of the Northern State, Mr. Abdeen Awadallah, in his office.

In the presence of the Secretary General of the Supreme Council for Culture and Information of the State, Mr. Al-Baqir Okasha, the Secretary General of the Supreme Council for Tourism, Dr. Al-Sadiq Awad, and the Director of the National Radio and Television Company, Mr. Naji Farouk.

The state governor expressed great joy over the visit of the Federal Minister of Culture and Information.

Highlighting the importance of the visit as the country goes through this historic turning point

Highlighting the role of the media in presenting the components and advantages of the state in various investment areas, in addition to stabilizing the situation of the state, he stressed that it hosts more than three million expatriates and announced the start of the disbursement of workers' salaries for the month of July.

*For his part, Federal Minister of Culture and Information Dr Graham Abdul Qader said the purpose of the visit to the state is to review the work and performance in the culture, media and tourism sectors.

He praised the efforts of the northern government and the state community and their reception of the displaced, in addition to opening schools and achieving high productivity during the winter agricultural season, stressing the importance of increased production to counter the lies that Sudan is on the brink of famine.

The minister condemned the Rapid Support Militia's prevention of humanitarian aid from reaching war-affected areas, which constitutes a flagrant violation of human rights.

The Minister of Culture and Information called for planning and developing the necessary solutions for the autumn season in light of the climate changes the state is witnessing.

Furthermore, the minister praised the openness shown by the State in the area of ​​investments in various sectors.
