Federal Minister of Health, Dr. Haitham Muhammad Ibrahim, revealed that 250 tonnes of medicines, solutions, antibiotics and emergency medicines were sent from the National Medical Supplies Fund, along with two integrated trauma kits (enough for 20,000 people), which are medicines and consumables provided by the Red Cross reference hospitals in Nile, Gedaref and Kassala states, in addition to medical equipment for Al-Faw hospital, which included 40 beds and 40 mattresses, in addition to 4 large air conditioners with 10,000 desert units and 8 fans, and 253 boxes of medicines and emergency consumables for the hospitals of Halfa and Gedaref provided by the World Health Organization.

Cross and the World Health Organization.
The minister ordered the minister to send medical supplies to the states hosting the displaced and injured, Gedaref, Nile and Kassala, ordering the medical supplies to open direct supply, emphasizing that by discussing the report of the visit to Al-Faw Hospital met the needs for medical supplies and an urgent supply of 130 oxygen cylinders was also provided to Al-Faw Hospital, highlighting the provision of a package of sterilizers, disinfectants and disinfection equipment for shelters. For Gedaref and Kassala states, apart from direct financial support for emergencies for the three states, as well as support to some hospitals, he added that he had been tasked with handling cases arriving in Al-Jikaika, Shendi, Al -Faw. , and Halfa, and the directive was to cover needs and treatments free of charge.
The minister said that the needs are very great and that coordination continues, stressing that there is an emergency team responsible for this work and monitoring the health situation.
