Federal Minister of Youth and Sports to visit Shindi town
Federal Minister of Youth and Sports Hazar Abdel Rasoul is expected to arrive in Shendi city as part of her upcoming visit to River Nile State.
The Chairman of the Nile Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, Hawa Mohamed Idris, announced that the Federal Minister of Youth and Sports would visit Shendi locality as it is a model locality for youth work and sports in Nile State.
During her recent visit to Shendi, the Chairperson of the Nile Youth and Sports Supreme Council, Hawa Mohamed Idris, highlighted the performance of the Youth and Sports Administration, which has provided a model of transformative training programs for young people to enable them find alternatives to the professions and jobs they lost due to the war and create greater opportunities to access the job market.
Regarding sports work, Hawa Idris said that Shindi introduced many different types of sports, such as skating, taekendo, karate and other types of sports.
Nile Governor Mohamed Al-Badawi Abdel-Majed praised the performance of the Shindi Youth and Sports Administration during the joint meeting between the state government secretariat and the local government of Shendi led by the local government, especially what the youth and sports administration presented in this direction, such as the Mohafion program for psychological and social support in expatriate accommodation centers.
