The Federal Ministry of Health stressed the need to increase clinical capacity, increase the supply of medicines, complete all medical equipment for hospitals that provide medical services to patients and ensure the supply of consumables for specialized services at state expense.
He assured the meeting of the Federal Minister of Health, Dr. Haitham Muhammad Ibrahim, Director of Administrative and Financial Affairs, Dr. Khalil Muhammad Ibrahim, the Director General of the National Medical Supplies Fund, Dr. Badr al-Din al- Jazouli, and the executive director of the National Medical Supplies Fund, Dr. Cheikh El-Din Abdel-Baqi and engineer Abdel-Rahim Othman, director of the development and projects department, are present today Monday in his office to fund the rebuilding of hospitals that provide the service and enable them to carry out their work, as the Department of Finance had previously allocated an amount of £7 billion to purchase medical devices and equipment supplied during the period. Abdul Rahim indicated that the Federal Minister of Health was assured to provide these consumables and medical equipment to the specialized services funded at public expense and to allocate sums of money for these services, noting that the meeting assured the strengthening of medical engineering mechanisms in the ministry and unification of purchasing mechanisms through the National Fund for Medical Supplies, in addition to the qualification of medical personnel, it equipped states with specialized workshops to monitor and evaluate medical devices.
