Finance Minister confirms government interest in Italian Emergency Organization projects in Sudan
Confirmed Dr. Gabriel Ibrahim, Minister of Finance and Economic Planning, expressed the government's interest in the projects of the Italian Emergency Humanitarian Organization in Sudan and its efforts to overcome the difficulties encountered in its work and limit the benefit of citizens from its medical and therapeutic services, emphasizing the importance of the humanitarian services that the organization provides in the health sector in a way that supports the state's efforts to localize treatment at home and attract support health and therapeutic to achieve its objectives. During his meeting with Rossella Miccio, head of the organization, at the ministry's headquarters today, the minister praised the continuation of the organization's activities in Sudan despite the war conditions and its repercussions. For her part, Rossella Miccio said that her visit to the country was aimed at inspecting the existing projects in Sudan, represented by the pediatric centers of Bur Soudan and Nyala, and the Al Salam Cardiac Surgery Center, Soba, Khartoum, and to coordinate with the relevant government agencies to resolve the difficulties that hinder their performance, revealing that the organization seeks to open outpatient clinics to monitor patients. The heart of Kassala and Gedaref adds to the clinics previously opened in Atbara and the pediatric clinic in Al. Salam Center in Soba.
It should be noted that the Non-Governmental Emergency Organization is an independent humanitarian organization founded in Italy in 1994 that provides free, high-quality medical and surgical care to victims of war, poverty and landmines.
