First Kuwaiti aid plane arrives for people affected by torrents and floods in Nile and Northern states
A Kuwaiti humanitarian plane arrived today at Port Sudan International Airport, including tents, sanitation materials and pesticides to assist those affected by war, torrents and floods in the country. The aid was received in the presence of staff from the Kuwaiti Embassy in Port Sudan and officials from the Sudanese Red Crescent.
Faisal Al-Jarallah, representative of the Kuwaiti Red Crescent, said that the plane is a support from the people and government of Kuwait to our brothers in Sudan, under the leadership of His Highness the Amir of Kuwait, may God protect and preserve him. For his part, the Acting Secretary General of the Sudanese Red Crescent Society, Hassan Abu Bakr Adam, expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Kuwaiti leadership and people for their support to Sudan, indicating that this support comes within the framework of continuous cooperation between the two countries.
