From click to progress: digital paths for young people for sustainable development – something for the fatherland – ✍️ Mr. Salah Gharib

In our interconnected world, the Internet is no longer just a means of entertainment or social communication, but has rather become a strong platform for innovation and change. In this context, the International Youth Day is a precious opportunity to highlight the enormous abilities of young people, in particular in the use of digital tools to carry out sustainable development. The slogan “by Click to Progress: The Digital Youth paths for Sustainable Development” is not only a title, but rather an invitation to work to invest the energies of young people in the construction of a better future.

Young Sudanese have enormous underlying capacities, which can be effectively directed towards sustainable development. They have proven their ability to adapt and flexibility, in particular in the light of the difficult circumstances that Sudan is going through. As technology increases, young Sudanese can be leaders in change in their societies.

The stage of recovery and reconstruction in Sudan is a major challenge and requires concerted efforts of all the groups of the company. Here is the role of young Sudanese located inside and outside Sudan, especially in digital tracks, where they can help:

Distribution of awareness and information: Young people can use digital platforms to provide precise information on reconstruction, available opportunities and humanitarian services.

Brediction of capacities: Young people can organize virtual workshops and online training courses to teach new skills such as programming, digital marketing and project management, which are basic skills to rebuild the economy.

Following the war, Egypt received a large number of Sudanese young people, which gives them a precious opportunity to acquire knowledge and experience. Consequently, it is necessary that young Sudanese in Egypt focus on the exploitation of digital paths to achieve sustainable development in Sudan.

Acquisition of skills: They can join the training courses available in Egypt or online in areas such as information technologies, data analysis and artificial intelligence, which are necessary skills in the reconstruction phase.
