Gedaref Ministry of Health lays foundation stone for gastrointestinal and hepatic endoscopy building

In a step that strengthens the path of localization of specialized services, the Gedaref State Ministry of Health today laid the foundation stone of the Gastrointestinal and Liver Endoscopy Building in the city of Gedaref State, in the presence of the Director General of the State Ministry of Health and the Minister-designate, Dr. Ahmed Al-Amin Adam.
Dr. Ahmed Al-Amin Adam confirmed that the project represents a qualitative addition to the state’s health service system and contributes to improving the quality of diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal and liver patients, providing advanced services that reduce the need to transfer patients out of the state.
He explained that the establishment of the endoscopy building is part of the plan of the Ministry of Health in Gedaref to develop health infrastructure, strengthen specialized centers and expand the scope of medical services provided to citizens, to meet the growing needs and improve the level of health care.
He stressed that the project reflects the ministry’s commitment to improving the quality of health services, supporting health stabilization efforts and achieving justice in the distribution of specialized services within the state.
