Gedaref State and Sudan Railways Authority signs the construction of the gedaref railway line
The state of Gedaref and Sudan Railways Authority signed the final agreement between them, which guarantees the rebirth of the eastern railway which passes in the state of Gedaref and is part of the plan of Sudan Railways Plan to benefit from the advantages provided by the railway to serve the national economy and reduce the cost of transport and to deport goods and passengers.
The two parties confirmed their full commitment to implement all the following elements in the agreement which entered into force from the moment of the signature.
It should be noted that the governor of Gedaref, in charge of Lieutenant-General Mohamed Ahmed Hassan Ahmed, director of Sudan Railways Authority, and members of the joint technical committee between the State and the Authority signed the terms of the agreement which set the obligations of each party.
