Geneva negotiations…. and betting on the time factor ✍️ Muhammad Othman Al-Radi
Through my monitoring and reading of the Sudanese political scene and according to the realistic data of the unfolding of successive events on the ground.
The United States of America does not have a clear vision towards Sudan and its positions towards Sudan remain completely ambiguous. Therefore, I do not expect any decisive progress in the negotiations in mid-August in the Swiss capital, Geneva, between the Sudanese army and the Rapid Support Militia.
America and its agents know for sure the ways to a comprehensive solution to the Sudanese crisis, but they are deliberately going against the grain in implementing their declared and hidden agenda.
There is no question of counting on the United States of America to make a breakthrough in the Sudanese issue, and this is not due to their inability, but rather because they do not want to do so in the first place.
Unfortunately, Sudan had many golden opportunities that it failed to seize, including directly acceding to the leadership of the Eastern bloc led by Russia and leaving the Western bloc led by America.
As soon as Sudan thought of moving towards the Eastern bloc led by Russia, the ground rose up and was slowed down by America and its agents. They erected barricades, dug trenches and intensified pressure on Sudan to abandon this move.
Khartoum's reluctance to pack its bags and head east is causing anxiety, generating doubts and opening the door wide to questions!!!!!
The Sudanese army's agreement in principle to negotiate is a good and excellent thing, but first we must know the agenda of the negotiations and who is preparing this agenda and for whose benefit??? These are very important questions that must be answered before participating in negotiations.
The selection of the negotiating delegation by the Sudanese army must be done according to precise specifications and accompanied by people with expertise and experience in this area.
The negotiating delegation must have room for maneuver, take advantage of the time factor, take advantage of available opportunities and strive to seize them in the desired manner.
The United States of America has prepared to form days to closely monitor and follow the progress of the negotiations and has qualified experts for this purpose in all aspects, including the psychological aspect.
The Swiss negotiations are a crucial step and a final card for the United States of America in dealing with the entire Sudanese scene. Washington will therefore do everything possible to make them a success by all means.
Russia is closely monitoring, following and watching the course of events in Sudan, but it is acting carefully and deeply, far from emotions and reactions, and has mechanisms to intervene appropriately and timely.
I keep repeating that the ground is now perfectly prepared for Sudan to play on these contradictions, particularly in the relationship between Washington and Moscow, and that this is an irreplaceable historical opportunity.
The Sudanese people, whose skin and heads have been burned by the fire of this war and who continue to pay the high bills in various areas, must be included in these negotiations and must be a genuine actor in this area.
