Geneva negotiations… is there a postponement? – Budgets – ✍️ Al-Tayeb Al-Makabrabi

What was widely circulated yesterday on social media and news platforms was the condemnation by the Sudan Liberation Movement of the US State Department's violation of the joint forces and its refusal to invite them to participate in the Geneva negotiations scheduled for August 14 between the army and the armed forces. Rapid Support Rebel Forces!!

The Minawi movement's statement said that the joint forces are an active party in this war and that the United States must quickly invite them to participate in the new platform…

A few days ago, the Umma Party issued a statement in which it welcomed the new platform and called on those who stood by its side to hold a table, perhaps to discuss how they would be present at this meeting, I read two days ago an appeal from a colleague in which he said that it was necessary to involve other active parties in these battles…

According to this approach, we do not exclude that the Popular Resistance demands to be represented in these negotiations, just as we do not exclude the demand of the Writers of Innocence for a seat there, and so on until the space is limited by the guests and the invited….

What we know for sure is that the current war, from its beginnings, was a fight between the army and a group that did not belong to it and had a special name that wanted to seize power by force of arms, and that there were those who entered later as supporters of the army, and those who entered as supporters of the rebellion after specializing in the theft of houses and harem jewels and returning from the theft of power in secret…

All the facts only indicate that the ongoing fighting is limited to the army and its supporters and the rebellion and its supporters, and that negotiations between them therefore become the target of such platforms, and that there is no need for other doors to be opened to other negotiators; each of them has an agenda that will undoubtedly conflict with that of the real fighters…

The Joint Forces, Al-Baraa Brigades and the Popular Resistance are the support of the Armed Forces, Qaht and Taqadum groups, and the countries that support them are the support of the rebel rapid support, and if the invitation included groups that support it, they should not have been present at such a meeting…

We fear that such calls will multiply and that the US administration will begin to rethink opening the doors and expanding the scope of the dialogue, which will require announcing the postponement of negotiations for a certain time.

If this happens and the table widens, then no one can expect anything other than more discord, more differences of opinion and perhaps the dispersion and dismantling of the unified military front, singling out each faction and putting knives in the camp of our armed forces. …

God was helping everyone
