Government accuses international organizations in Sudan of collusion with militias
Port Sudan
The Sudanese government has accused international organizations working in the humanitarian field of colluding with the militias by helping to deliver humanitarian aid convoys to them.
Commissioner for Humanitarian Aid, Salwa Adam Benya, said during the brainstorming meeting organized by the Darfur regional government in the Red Sea state's capital, Port Sudan city, in the presence of representatives of international organizations working in humanitarian aid, she said that the organizations They know very well that the rebel militias are looting, killing and organizing all kinds of crimes against citizens, but they have done nothing, this indicates a complicity with the rebellion.
Salwa said we have repeatedly requested organizations to provide humanitarian assistance from Port Sudan to citizens in areas affected by militia attacks. We have been officially contacted, but they have not responded, and we know that they are implementing international agendas.
The commissioner added that the organizations only focus on the Idri crossing, while there are more than ten crossings, but that by focusing on the Idri crossing, they seek to support the militias.
She said that although the deadline for clearance of Adre crossing expires on the 15th of this month, she renewed the government's commitment to facilitate the entry of humanitarian aid.
Benih sharply criticized the international community's indifference to the systematic crimes of militias against civilians, starting with the rebellion of rebel militias, the latest of which was the violations committed by militias against citizens in the state from Al-Jazeera, where no organization has condemned or even issued a complaint. This confirms the acceptance by the international community that militias commit massacres against citizens. She said that the government has presented all the working facilities of the organizations, but they have a special agenda.
