Government and popular efforts are being made to combat the epidemic
In continuation of the efforts of the health campaign aimed at combating the deadly cholera, its widespread spread and the increase in the number of deaths, popular and official efforts have been intensified and, in coordination with the strategic battalion of the locality of Al-Dabba, health care has been provided with about forty first aid workers trained in the use of chlorine, its distribution in homes and the education of the population on its use.
About sixty Red Crescent volunteers were also mobilized and all health activities were activated, including surveillance and waste, in addition to the fight against larvae and the aquatic stage. The number of spraying mechanisms and operations was increased and the work was intensified. According to the areas where the epidemic has spread, it should be noted that the health campaign that was launched under the generous patronage of the executive director of the locality of Al-Dabh and the director of the administrative unit, Mr. Dafa Muhammad Siddiq, and the Chamber of Commerce, which began nine days ago, will continue for a full month, as for the intensive campaign, it began this evening, Friday, September 20, and will be activated on the ground tomorrow, Saturday, September 21, God willing.
