Citizens of Omdurman city received the return of power supply after a nine-day blackout, starting at dawn on Sunday penultimate, due to the targeting of the Marawi power plant, starting from which the line (Markhiyat) connecting Omdurman electricity is supplied. .
Residents of Omdurman suffered greatly from the power outage, which coincided with the water supply stopping, forcing citizens to queue for long hours at water supply points.
It should be noted that the rapid support militia has recently targeted infrastructure and service centers benefiting citizens, following the army's victories in Sennar and Sinja and the recent release of civilians.
Other towns were affected by power outages due to militia attacks, such as Atbara, Gedaref and Kassala, but were restored after the damage caused by the militias was repaired.
