Health: 513 cases, including 177 deaths due to the fall, 234 new cases of cholera and 8 deaths in the states of Kassala and Gedaref.
At its meeting today, Sunday, the Federal Fall Emergency Room reviewed reports from the fall semester, cholera, environmental health and food control, and health promotion from yesterday, Saturday.
The fall report confirmed that the cumulative number of infections due to rain and floods in the affected states was (513) cases, including (177) deaths, while (40,096) families and (176,502) individuals were affected, from (11) states, (54) localities and (593) localities, while completely (18,838) houses collapsed and partially (15,074) houses collapsed, stressing that many interventions have been implemented to combat the problems and obstacles.
The cholera epidemiological situation report revealed that (234) new cases were recorded, all from Kassala (186) cases and Gedaref (48) cases states, bringing the cumulative number of infections in the five states of (33) localities to (2583), announcing the death of (8) patients, in the two states, with Kassala (6) patient deaths, and Gedaref (two) patient deaths, making a cumulative total of (98) deaths.
The Environmental Hygiene and Food Control and Health Promotion reports noted the implementation of several activities in the fight against cholera.
