Health Insurance adopts a strategic plan for the years 2025-2027
The National Health Insurance Fund has approved a strategic plan for the years 2025-2027.
The Director General of the National Health Insurance Fund, Dr. Farouk Nour Al-Daim, announced today (Saturday) during a meeting with the directors of the Fund's departments, the formation of a supreme health insurance committee. strategic planning experts in the country to develop the structure of the plan. At the same time, he ordered the Fund's branches to organize workshops “so that all workers participate in the development of the strategic plan.”
He explained that the strategic plan addresses emergency situations, repercussions of war, health system reform with partners including the Ministry of Health, and expanding partnerships.
He highlighted that the Quartet, despite war conditions, had achieved high rates of recovery, availability of services and coverage of returnees and displaced persons with insurance services, as well as successes in availability of medicines and health insurance, making progress in partnerships with the Ministries of Health, Finance, Medical Supplies, Zakat Office, state governments and international organizations such as Japanese JICA and the World Health Organization.
The Dr. celebrated. Nour Al-Dayem praised the Fund's partnership with policyholders, calling it most important through the services provided and the continuous search for their satisfaction in the provision of services and the realization of social protection.
The director general of the National Health Insurance Fund said that the flexibility followed by the Fund helped to implement the emergency plan imposed by the war despite the devastation. He added: “But health insurance invented methods that contributed to continuity.”
