How to spread the culture of peace in Sudan – a national murmur – ✍️ Dr Tariq Ashari

Under the slogan, “work now for a peaceful world”. This year’s subject has just celebrated International Peace Day to improve the values of tolerance and rejection of violence and the ceasefire, which fell on September 21 of each year. We have before celebrating that we publish this culture while we are in Sudan in yesterday the need for this in the circumstances of us coexist with its bitter reality. It has become an existential necessity for the survival of the state and the unity of the company.
The first of these methods is education, because schools and universities must be transformed into tolerance and acceptance areas, through programs and activities that improve dialogue and cooperation. The media also play a central role in the confrontation of hate speeches and rumors, providing positive messages that tell common coexistence stories and highlight the importance of national unity.
Civil society also has an important role, thanks to initiatives by young people and women who promote the values of justice and equality. As for religious and tribal leaders, it must be a major responsibility for the sound of wisdom, not an incentive tool, by supporting societal reconciliations based on tolerance.
It is not possible to forget the role of art and culture, because singing, poetry and theater are strong ways to raise awareness and unite people on the values of beauty and peace. On the other hand, the real peace will not settle without social justice which approaches the grievances and ensures an equitable distribution of wealth and opportunities.
The spread of peace culture in Sudan means that we accept the difference without fighting and that we realize that the country can seek everyone, no matter how different their tribes, regions or affiliations are. Peace is not only the absence of war, it is a lifestyle and a daily message that says that together, we build the new Sudan.
Peace is a culture that is built with tolerance, consciousness and education, to become a lifestyle that guarantees the unity and stability of Sudan. And Sudan after the war is stronger and the most beautiful
