Sudanese Prime Minister, d. In his speech during the inauguration ceremony of the book _ (cybersecurity) _ written by the major-general (M.) d. Suleiman Mustafa, which took place on Tuesday at the Rabwah hotel in the city of Port Sudan, the Prime Minister announced the circulation of cybersecurity concepts at all state institutions, highlighting the country’s urgent need for national hospitalization and digital transformation.
The Prime Minister donated a large number of copies of the book to distribute it to ministries, ministries and universities, in order to improve advantages and disseminate the culture of cybersecurity.
In the same context, the governor of the Darfur province, the leader Mona Arko Minawi, said that the protection of state institutions represents the first line of defense of national security and sovereignty, noting that the safety of cybersecurity is a collective responsibility which begins from the individual and ends in the state, recommending the development of capacities and the strengthening of a safe infrastructure.
Minawi Called, During his speech on the inauguration of the book, in the presence and sponsorship of the prime minister, Dr. Kamel Idris, with the participation of a group of officials and experts in the field of technology and security, and representatives of security and academic institutions, Cybersecurity and compulsory institutions to the in the public and private sectors, and work for them to take protection, establish national centers, and support in this field.
He also underlined the need for training and qualification, providing the support necessary for scientific research in universities, concluding international and regional partnerships and improving applied research initiatives.
For his part, the General Police of the Major-General (M) d. Suleiman Mustafa, during his examination of the axes of the book, that the strategic objectives of cybersecurity contribute to improving the internal and economic stability of the State, providing protection for electronic applications for citizens and institutions, contributing to regional and international terrorism, and to attack cyber menices such as electronic wars and the fight against terrorism and organized crime.
He recommended the creation of a national body for cybersecurity and artificial intelligence, working on local and effective international and regional coordination, the development of basic controls, awareness of society and institutions and companies forcing to establish units specialized in cybersecurity, and also called for updating programs and laws to monitor the rhythm of challenges.
