Ibrahim Jaber: Education in Sudan faces sharp turning points that require strong interventions to reform the path

Member of the Sovereignty Council, Lieutenant General Engineer Ibrahim Jaber, confirmed that the education sector in Sudan has gone through many turning points and complex challenges, requiring strong and deliberate interventions to create the required assessment and rebuild the educational process on a solid foundation.

This came during his chairmanship of the Supreme Committee meeting aimed at preparing the environment for return to Khartoum State, where he stressed that education represents the cornerstone of the process of stability and reconstruction, emphasizing the need for concerted official and societal efforts to address the effects of war, which were directly reflected in educational institutions.

Ibrahim Jaber stressed the importance of developing urgent and long-term solutions to ensure the safe and stable return of students and teachers, and of providing an appropriate educational environment, which contributes to advancing the educational process and achieving societal stability.



The meeting highlighted the importance of coordinating efforts among relevant authorities to accelerate the preparation of educational infrastructure and support recovery programs, so as to keep pace with the demands of the next stage and place education at the top of the priorities for the return to Khartoum.
