The Ministry of Culture, Information and Communications of the Nile State announced to citizens the imminent launch of the Nile State satellite channel in the coming period, Professor Mostafa Al-Sharif, Minister of Culture and Information of the state, confirmed this. The satellite channel will have a great cultural and economic impact on the state and will highlight the economic potential and open windows for investment, especially since it will be launched with high artistic and technical capacities and qualified human cadres.

Mustafa stressed that the Nile State has become a sought-after and sought-after location for many factories due to the advantages of the state, noting that the great economic potential that the state enjoys in agricultural production, mining, cement manufacturing and manufacturing industries will be a destination for investors from institutions and companies and will create cooperative relations between Sudan and a number of countries in economic fields, especially since many agreements and memoranda of understanding that have been signed between Sudan and a number of countries are waiting to be activated.

The Minister of Information stressed that the recent visit of the Nile Governor, Muhammad Al-Badawi Abdel Majid, to Turkey provided an opportunity to discuss the investment advantages enjoyed by the state and pave the way for Turkish companies to invest in new industries.

Mustafa stressed that the launch of the Nile State satellite channel is considered a window through which everyone can discover the great economic potential that the state is full of, especially after the opening of Atbara International Airport and the railway, which is initially headquartered in Atbara. It will connect Atbara to the Sudanese ports on the Red Sea to facilitate the transfer of export and import operations, as transportation is considered one of the most important factors in economic activity.

In the same spirit and the importance of community radio in the revival of communities, the Minister of Culture and Information announced that his ministry plans to organize a workshop to discuss the coordination arrangements of the relationship of local radios in the revival of rural communities.

He stressed that this workshop would be held in cooperation with one of the higher specialized academies and would include a number of experts and specialists in this field.

He said the slow pace of development process in local communities is largely the responsibility of community radios. This is one of the reasons for their establishment to increase local community culture and awareness of the nation's problems from a local perspective. This is to increase agricultural productivity or increase livestock in these farming and pastoral communities.

He added that the success of the work depends on the implementation by local radio stations of the results of this academic workshop, with benefits that will accrue to the local community, which in turn will benefit Sudanese society.
