Director of the General Administration for Combating Smuggling in the Customs Forces and Acting Director of Customs, General Hashim Mohamed Ahmed, speaking to the founding media platform of the Ministry of Interior, which discussed today today in Port Sudan of a drug-free nation. , revealed the involvement of one of the Arab countries in the promotion of the drug and its introduction into the country in large quantities for the purpose of financial gain. In this context, the Deputy Director General, Major General Sami Hamid Hariz, revealed that the Red Sea State contains 43 islands used by drug traffickers for storage, noting that the population component, considered the one of the most important forces of the state, is therefore targeted throughout the Cold War, which happened in Sudan before the start of the arms war.
Hariz said wars, revolutions and natural disasters are among the most conducive environments for the spread of drugs, emphasizing the importance of activating the awareness axis to dry up the spread market.
