The newspaper obtained details of the emergency meeting held by the Sudan Football Federation regarding the resumption of sporting activity in the presence of the relevant committees. The details date back to the joint meeting of the Sudan Football Federation competition organizing committee, legal and legal services. Members Affairs Committee and Players Status Committee of Dawana Society for Multi-Activities in Merowe, chaired by the First Vice President of the Sudan FA, Dr. Osama Atta Al-Mannan Hassan, in the presence of Maulana Muhammad Ahmed Suleiman, Vice-Chairman of the Players' Status and Transfers Committee, and Maulana Mutawakkil Abbas Aqeed, Vice-Chairman of the Legal and Members' Affairs Committee, Muhammad Abdel Samie Al-Qusi, Othman Abdel Rahman, Samir Muhammad Ali and Essam Abdel Moneim, members of the competitions commission.
The joint meeting discussed a number of agenda items including the return of sporting activity in the country, the proposed sports season map, the launch of the Premier League and the general league qualifying for the Premier League, the list of competitions, determining the number of groups, dividing the clubs and cities hosting the Premier League and determining the system and method for qualified teams from regions for the general league which qualify for the Premier League according to the new system.
The joint meeting made the following decisions after the meeting welcomed the decision of the state and its various agencies to resume sports activities in Sudan after its cessation in April last year and its full support for its return in safe areas and the provision of all necessary equipment. The meeting decided to establish the Premier League in four groups, consisting of Al-Gharb Group and Al-Gharb Group, North Group and East Group. Each group will include six teams, with the exception of the Al-Gharb group. for the Nile River Group, which will include five teams. All clubs will participate in the first stage of the competition, with the exception of the top two clubs, which will participate in the Super Stage according to the decision of the Board of Directors to determine the external representation in accordance with the competition regulations, and the meeting has ruled that states and cities which will host Premier League groups must commit to providing accommodation and training grounds for the clubs. The rest period will take place during the holy month of Ramadan, the Super League starting with participation in the summit after the Eid Al-Mubarak holiday, and the meeting decided to play the qualifying general league competition for the Premier League . using the new system, which is the regional system approved by the Board of Directors, where each region of the basic system plays a competition between the champions of its federations, and its champions qualify for the final phase in which all those who come out of the league to participate. Regions in accordance with the regulations issued for the competition, and the meeting decided that the Premier League competition in the group stage will begin on January 10 next year, and the meeting decided that the General League competition for the new season will begin in the middle of next January.
