In the presence of the President of the Sovereignty Council – Sudan and China sign a strategic cooperation agreement in the fields of defense

Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan witnessed today in the Chinese capital, Beijing, on the sidelines of his participation in the China-Africa Cooperation Summit Forum, the signing ceremony of an agreement between the Defense Industries System and China's Poly (POLY) Company for strategic cooperation in vital and defense fields, in the presence of Sudanese Ambassador to China Ambassador Omar Siddiq and leaders of the system and the Chinese company.
This agreement is part of effective defense support on different military axes, and these contracts will contribute to the sustainability of the country's defense and security preparation.
It was signed on behalf of the system by Lieutenant General Mirghani Idris Suleiman, Director General of the Defense Industries System, while it was signed on behalf of the company by Mr. Khoyan Jimen, General Director of Poly Company, who in turn confirmed that this agreement with Sudan strengthens the principle of strategic partnership between China and Sudan.
