Industrial rooms: State invitation to launch the sea coast to be a free area for various industries

Secretary General of Industrial Chambers: The industrial sector has been subject to great destruction, and we are determined to rebuild, and we call for the creation of a higher advice for industrial and economic development.

The industrial chamber called on the State to play a more important role in solving the problems of the industrial sector, which includes the electricity crisis and the taxes imposed on it, in addition to the destruction, theft and looting of electricity, copper and machines following the current war. The Chamber also stressed the importance of tackling the obstacles that harmed the industry, calling the State to exploit the Côte de la Mer, which covers more than 850 km, and transforming it into a free zone to create different industries.

The secretary general of the Sudanese Industrial Chambers Union, Abbas Ali Al -Sayyid, stressed that the industrial sector was seriously damaged by the war, including the loss of mechanisms and machines for operating factories, and their flight, in addition to the departure of the national capital abroad. He called on the government to establish a higher advice for industrial and economic development, noting that the tendency to create free industrial zones aims to encourage production and exports. He explained that many countries have increased in three decades and have become stronger than the United States of America, stressing the need to examine policies to protect national factories and industrialists, as well as customs policies reform and the creation of an effective executive mechanism to approach imbalances.

Abbas said, during today’s meeting with manufacturers in the construction of the industrial chamber of the Sudan port, that manufacturers are determined to rebuild the local industrial sector according to their national responsibility towards the State and the citizen, despite the absence of incentives. He added that war is not only with weapons, but also an economic and social war. He explained that the meeting aims to tighten coordination for reconstruction and reconstruction and the guarantee that the interests are not in conflict, noting that work will continue in the past two years.

He also pointed out that the objective of Reunion is to review the problems of industrialists and to raise them to the Minister of Industry in order to develop a reconstruction plan for factories. Abbas warned that there was a threat to industrialists with the exit of capital outside of Sudan, in particular by big names and business companies, and this was greeted by other countries.

Abbas called for the training of technical committees to assess the loot in factories in all sectors, encourage local industries and seek external markets. He also called on the government to accelerate procedures for industrialists and to remove the obstacles from costs and cheeses, calling for a review to protect national and industrial factories.

A number of manufacturers have called for the need to change bureaucratic procedures and remove the obstacles to which the sector is faced with several costs and samples.

The chief of the Salle Mills and the director of the Mills sector in Siqa, Aref Najm El -Din, revealed the suffering of the sector following the judgment of the import of wheat several months ago, stressing that the sector is confronted with major problems due to the absence of a party which represents its interests. He announced that a great battle with the Central Bank of Sudan was announced following the decision to stop the financing of wheat five months ago, calling for the resolution of the case and the creation of appropriate solutions.

Aref also called to set controls to sell iron, noting that it had an estimated amount of 100,000 tonnes, without the presence of points of sale to get rid of it, according to the republican decision to stop exporting iron.
