Interaction of Displaced Persons with Awareness, Hygiene and Environmental Sanitation in Dry Port of North Kordofan State ✍️ Taha Haroun Hamed
As part of the ongoing efforts to raise awareness among displaced persons about health and environment, the dry port of North Kordofan State witnessed yesterday a distinguished activity represented by a comprehensive awareness campaign on the importance of cleanliness and environmental sanitation. The campaign brought together a large number of displaced persons, who showed great interaction with the activities.
The campaign focused on several main areas, including awareness workshops on the importance of personal and public hygiene, in addition to providing advice on how to handle waste and dispose of it properly. Awareness materials and educational brochures were also distributed to participants.
The displaced persons expressed their appreciation for this initiative, noting that such campaigns increase awareness among communities and improve their health and living conditions. Some of them confirmed that participating in environmental activities gives them a sense of responsibility towards their environment and that of their children.
For her part, the campaign coordinator confirmed that these events are part of a comprehensive strategy aimed at improving environmental conditions in the region and strengthening cooperation between the various parties involved. She stressed the importance of continuing to implement such programs to ensure the sustainability of awareness and positivity in society.
