Island Governor Inspects Wounded and Injured in Umm Maliha Village, Praises Their Firmness
Today, the Governor of Al-Jazeera State, Mr. Al-Tahir Ibrahim Al-Khair, Chairman of the State Security Committee, inspected the injured and wounded in the village of Umm Maliha , affiliated with the rural unit of Tabet in the locality of Al-Hasahisa. , at Al-Manaqil University Hospital. The wounded were yesterday subjected to a treacherous attack by rebel militias. He was received by Lieutenant Colonel Haitham Ahmed Hassan, representative of the Operations Wounded Committee.
The governor affirmed that the blood shed on the lands of Gezira State represents the price of dignity and a symbol of bravery and sacrifice, praising the patience of the citizens and their sacrifices for the sake of the homeland and the honor. He added that the souls of the martyrs of Umm Maliha village will remain lamps lighting the way and an expression of the determination of the island's residents, who support the armed forces and are considered a strategic reserve for food security.
The governor also stressed the need to provide the best treatment services to the injured, expressing condolences to the families of the martyrs and wishes for a speedy recovery for the injured. It is noteworthy that Umm Maliha village lost 9 martyrs and 13 people were injured following the brutal attack carried out by rebel militias.
