_ According to press reports from booksellers in Al-Obeid city regarding the movement to purchase school supplies, after the deliberate bombings carried out by the Rapid Support militia to kill children in primary schools and students and girls in secondary schools, bookstore owners said: The purchasing movement has not decreased especially after parents learned that the government of North Kordofan State decided not to interrupt the school year, so as not to respond to the pressure of the militia to kill children and girls in order to continue committing the worst types of human rights violations punishable by international humanitarian law.
In this regard, the owner of Al-Madaniyya bookstore in Al-Obeid, Mr. Mohamed Rabih, said: We confirm that the movement of students and their families to libraries to buy their tools has increased, which contributed to the withdrawal of most of the goods available on the market, and in fact there has been a shortage and an increase in prices. For example, a dozen laptops have increased by 25% compared to what they were before, and the main reason is that buses that carry passengers and goods from Sabreen market in Omdurman to Al-Obeid were prevented from shipping goods by a decision of the Khartoum State Security Committee, adding that this decision casts a negative shadow on libraries. In white, we therefore suggest that the governor, Mr. Abdel Khaleq Abdel Latif Wada' Allah, address the governor of Khartoum State, Mr. Mohamed. Othman Hamza, to review this decision, so that the educational process in North Kordofan does not fail due to the scarcity, scarcity and high prices of stationery supplies that students and students need.
In my opinion, Professor Mohamed Rabih's speech summarizes important hypotheses:
First: The people of Al-Abyad were patient in the face of the crime committed against them by the Rapid Support Militia by killing their children and daughters on the morning of August 14, 2024. The ordeal and challenge were overcome, and everyone returned to school stronger because apostasy is impossible, and thus a significant challenge was imposed on the State Security Committee.
Second: The students, the students and their families have not lost their determination, and they have not been and will not be afraid of death unless it is by Katoshiya or by direct bullets to the chest, and I believe that this is an important message in the mail of the militia and its allies that the schools of Al-Obeid will remain beacons of education, and not (secret trenches) from which bullets come out to kill innocent people.
Third: The ball is now in the court of the North Kordofan State Security Committee and its head, Abdel Khaleq Abdel Latif, who rushed to address the governor of Khartoum State, as well as everything related to securing the educational process in the state. …
