Joint coordination at the table of the Federal Minister of Health and the Sudanese Red Crescent
As part of the humanitarian assistance to Sudan, the Federal Minister of Health, Dr. Haitham Muhammad Ibrahim today in his quarantine office in Port Sudan, the Secretary General of the Sudanese Red Crescent Society, Dr. . Aida Al-Sayed Abdullah and the director of the association's health department, Dr. Bahaa El-Din Muhammad Dafallah, in the presence of several ministerial officials.
In press statements after the meeting, the Federal Minister of Health, Dr. Haitham Mohamed Ibrahim, revealed that the meeting discussed the programs of the association during the previous period in matters of business humanitarian and future plans, in addition to the coordination relationships of the Sudanese Red Network. Crescent Society and regional and international organizations working in humanitarian aid projects, in addition to joint coordination regarding medical supplies received through the Sudanese Red Crescent Society.
The minister appreciated the great role of the association in the service of the citizen, the humanitarian service without distinction, particularly in the health sector, calling on the association to coordinate with the states affected by the cholera epidemic and to work to participate in environmental sanitation work. , deal with the epidemic, provide clean water, and participate in the lifeline of blood donation, emphasizing joint coordination for the sake of citizens' health.
