Kassala State hosts displaced persons from Jazira and Sinnar States in the production department in cooperation with FAO, with the aim of:
Benefiting from the capacities of displaced farmers from Sennar and Jazira states, introducing them into the production cycle and providing them with employment opportunities is a priority for the Kassala state government, civil administrations and organizations.

A meeting was held in which the Minister of Production of Kassala, Dr. Khader Ramadan, Engineer Al-Hadi Al-Sadiq, Minister of Production of Sennar State, and Dr. Arafa Mahmoud, Minister of Production of Gezira State participated.

The meeting stressed the importance of providing agricultural inputs to benefit from large areas and harvest water.

The Minister of Production of Jazira and Sennar States expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Kassala government and civil administrations for their generous hospitality, providing all aids and transforming the displaced into producers.
We commend FAO for its support to small producers, especially displaced groups, to integrate them into the production cycle and contribute to ensuring food security.
