Kassala Student Welfare Fund confirms its interest in student housing

The Secretary of the Kassala State Students Welfare Fund, Mr. Abdullah Abdul Jabbar, has confirmed the interest of the management of the Fund in providing accommodation services to students through the Fund’s boarding and private boarding schools, disclosing in press statements the arrival of (22) universities and colleges to the state to conduct examinations for their students in coordination with Kassala Universities and East National University.

Khareef expects the arrival of more universities and colleges in the coming period, revealing that they have received calls from those who manage these universities and colleges to provide accommodation for their students. He said that the number of boarding schools affiliated with the Fund has reached (7), including (5) in the city of Kassala and (2) in the city of Halfa. He explained that there are (3) boarding schools in the city of Kassala that have been transformed into accommodation centers, and the rest have been allocated to students. Khareef noted the arrangements made by the Fund to reorganize the administrative structure, as well as the interest in human resource development, investments and efforts to increase revenues to meet the expenses related to pensions and employees of the Fund.
