What a beautiful feeling you get when you try to do good, when you cure the illness of others and when you live for the good of others.

He worked hard and sincerely and gave optimism, hope, joy and pleasure.

He is a man of righteousness and benevolence.

He played a pioneering and distinguished role for which the region (*Shendi Fawq*) in particular has become famous, and I am here to document this for the generation of tomorrow. they can preserve the legacy of their ancestors.

He was an exceptional man who led development, reconstruction, solidarity and compassion, and his habit was to do good, righteousness, benevolence and kindness to the poor and the poor, and this is also what his grandchildren do today.

The late resident Othman Al-Sheikh was known for his humanity, his broad chest, his great determination and his fertile imagination. How could he not do so, when he was considered to come from the generation of patriots like Al-Kamali and Sheikh Mustafa, for example. , and others.

Traps.

The man of justice and charity, Othman, may God have mercy on him, died in 1949 AD and his sons assumed administrative guardianship.

As following :_

*Khaled Othman* until *1982 AD* (date of his death) then the administration took over

*Al-Zein* until the year *2008 AD* date of his death

*Babakar* until *2018 AD* then his grandchildren took over the management: –

*Othman and Imad Babiker* So

*Othman Al-Zein*

*Mill Service Range*: –

The mill began to provide its services with a Reston port of English manufacture, *(31)* horse power. It is a very large port. It is operated by three workmen, two of whom (with a lever), and the third turns. the wheel with his foot and opens the gas lock.

The wabur makes a huge noise that can be heard from about 2 kilometers away. Ironically, when I was a child, I witnessed the traveling mill when they sent me to get flour.

*Workers who served successively*

According to their priority: –

1. *Our uncle Salim* (Box 7)

2. *Ali Abdallah* (translation)

*3. Hassan Al-Amin* (translation)

*4. Muhammad Al-Bashir Al-Qadi*

5*. Friend* (Quraish costume)

The mill continued and continues to provide excellent services to customers in the town of Shendi and surrounding villages, earning it a good and great reputation that at that time extended beyond the borders of the region.

Since wood was worked to generate heat to turn the stone operators that represent the mill, where one stone turns on the other in a circular manner to grind the grains through a belt connected to a heat generator, which is cooled by passing through a basin with an area of *(3) x 5) m* and a depth of *(2)* m filled with water to cool it and it was very huge

*Develop and modernize the mill* :-

The development started from the time of the late *Al-Zein* in the year *(1982/2008)* when the large English washer (*Reston*) was replaced by a small one of Indian manufacture *(Licester*) and after that the reforms and development continued with the introduction of wheat and corn peelers. Undoubtedly, the work has been very good and has received a lot of approval and praise from customers and clients.

Additionally, new mills and peelers produce flour faster and smoother.

The biggest modernization of the current generation era, the grandchildren's generation, was the reconstruction of the mill in its current geometric shape and its connection to electricity, and the shape of the packaging was developed in different sizes to meet the expansion of distribution points.

*Service delivery area*

When the mill was established, the scope of service was limited to the squares surrounding it, such as the squares (*6/7/8/9*) in addition to the suburbs such as the Quraish district and Housh Banga, and with the development of transportation and deportation, the scope of providing services to all the cities of Shendi and the events expanded.

*Continuity and quality of service factors*

1/ Maintain the cleanliness of the mill and the grains by eliminating impurities stuck to the grains

2/ Workers perform all operations, such as storage and carrying, which reduces the cost and this results in a lower price of the product for the consumer.

3/ Continuing work to maintain the product quality of all kinds of flours, in addition to barley, millet and cereals that are used to celebrate the month of Ramadan.

The good treatment of the mill workers created social relations with all the families in the surrounding area.

*In general*

Khaled Mill, as everyone calls him by this name, is considered a distinctive and distinctive mark in the history of the region, whether people disagree or agree on its feasibility. I say that the simplicity of the social equation means preserving history and. completing development.
