Initiatives to support returnees:
Takayas were set up in the Abbasiya and Al-Hashmab neighborhoods to provide meals to returning citizens, and cleaning and sterilization services were also provided to mosques in preparation for their reopening.

The governor of Khartoum is working to address the poor power supply in Omdurman by providing transformers and repairing broken water pipes.
