Khartoum State Governor Ahmed Othman Hamza has said that the federal government, although its main concern is the liberation battle and elimination of rebellion, pays great attention to Khartoum State.
In his speech to the delegation of the General Union of Sudanese Journalists, the Khartoum governor said that a number of federal government ministers visited Khartoum to restore services, each in his specialty, and that some 'among them visited several times to find out the results of their previous visits.
He explained that many services organized in the state, such as police work in the field of road traffic, passports and judicial work, as well as the work of the courts, in their different degrees, as well as the rehabilitation and operation of important facilities such as water, electricity, health services, supply of medicines, etc., have played a role in the federal government.
The Khartoum governor said that despite the limited sources of revenue that supplied the public treasury, which have weakened and diminished due to the security conditions facing the country, the federal government equitably distributes the budget among the states, especially those affected by the crisis. the war.
He pointed out that previous budgetary criteria included distance or proximity to the federal capital and as Khartoum has been home to the federal government for over a hundred years, its share is zero in this criterion.
Khartoum Governor Ahmed Othman Hamza revealed that the Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, was following the cases across the state, with each one coming to inspect its soldiers in all battle axes and military zones located in Khartoum State.
He expressed thanks and gratitude to all members of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and Federal Government Ministers who have placed Khartoum issues at the forefront of their attention.
