How could it be otherwise, since this is the land of the tiger, whose inhabitants are famous for their chivalry and genuine Tayi generosity. Poets have written there and great singers and artists have sung there because of its splendor which has distinguished it and. gave it a particular color in the Nile State, of which it is part.

Today, during this cursed war that affected the country and its people, Shindi was a refuge for most of the residents of the areas affected by the serious violations committed by the militias in Khartoum and other states. But despite the cruelty and horror of war, the mere mention of his name sends shivers through the body due to the terrible shocks to which those who came from the areas affected by military fighting were exposed. We said “come,” and we did. I do not say “displaced”, because they came to their homes and stayed among their families in their second home, Shindi, to whom the verses which say (O our guest, if you come to me) applied to Our houses, you would find. us as guests and you as the owner of the house. Its positive virtues made Shindi a crucible for people of thought and creativity. They were like a time bomb that exploded and its creative fragments spread throughout the city, which had a positive impact on it in various aspects. creative spectrum, including poets, writers, playwrights, writers, artists, media personalities, businessmen, engineers, doctors and investors, who contributed to its revival. He contributed to its development as he witnessed it. Shindi was an architectural development and the most modern hospitals and various factories were established, which left the unstable areas and became firmly established, thereby helping to turn the wheel of the economy.

In the field of education, its ancient universities played a leading role in the development of education, as its universities contained various colleges, which emerged from their womb, as they had their fingerprints in the movement of the wheel of state. Recently, the Sudanese certificate. examinations were held there, during which most of the students coming from the State of Khartoum and other states which founded the city of Shetdi were examined at the level of its leaders and its popular community, supporting them and by providing them with food. , drink and board until the exam period ends and they go home. The expatriate media professionals in Shindi were the fruit of the city and its shining beacon, as their pens, despite the pain and sadness of leaving home, reflected these creative stunts. for others, contributing to activate and develop media work through the activities they carried out, and they had a great influence in mobilizing different sectors of society.

Now that the war has started to take its toll, Shindi has started to bid farewell to the groups of his guests from Khartoum State and other states who were shining pearls in his country, and here they miss him today after they had lived there for days. and months. This had a magnificent effect on the souls of the returnees and left a beautiful and unforgettable impression in their hearts.

Shendi will always remain in souls and hearts, as she resided in hearts and inside, because everyone has within them eternal memories that time will not erase from memory.
